Crop guides
Rice is Minh Tâm's core crop. Below is a reference fertiliser schedule for one season on 1 hectare of direct-seeded rice, combining Minh Tâm granular fertilisers with NEB-26 from the USA. Rates should be adjusted to local soil and conditions, so check with a Minh Tâm field technician before applying.
When soaking the seed, before incubation
After soaking, drain and rinse the seed, then incubate as usual. Germination is more even and rooting is stronger.
Before sowing or transplanting
The high phosphorus content drives strong rooting and tillering.
7–10 days after sowing
Minh Tâm's NEB-26 manuals use about 10 ml of NEB-26 per sào (500 m²). Plants grow sturdier, with thicker leaves and faster growth.
15–20 days after sowing (start of tillering)
Licensed rates for rice: NPK 20-5-5+10S 100–150 kg/ha basal and 300–350 kg/ha per season as top-dressing; urea 130–160 kg/ha per season, split between the first and second top-dressings.
30–35 days after sowing (active tillering)
The licence gives SA for rice as 200 kg/ha per season at the first top-dressing.
At the start of panicle initiation, about 25–30 days before heading
Supports panicle formation and clean emergence, with brighter, heavier grain.
10–15 days before heading
High potassium gives stiffer stems, an upright flag leaf, larger panicles and even heading.
Grain filling
Helps fast grain filling and plump, heavy grain.
Rates are indicative and should be adjusted to soil, variety and weather. Contact a Minh Tam agronomist for specific advice.
