Before planting
Loosens the soil, helps the young tree grow and builds resistance to pests and disease later on.
Nursery stage, every 7–10 days
Builds a strong root system and healthy plants with better resistance to pests and nematodes.
Trees aged 1–3 years: 6 times a year (3 in the dry season, 3 in the rainy season), two months apart
Can be mixed with manure or other fertilisers and applied at the base.
4 times a year: after harvest and pruning; 25–30 days before flowering; when the fruit is rambutan-sized; about one month before harvest
Helps the tree recover after harvest, keeps moisture and nutrients in the soil, and protects roots and trunk base from some fungal diseases.
