Organic growing media and microbial products for Ngọc Linh ginseng

Minh Tâm takes part in developing growing media for Ngọc Linh ginseng. The project's trial evaluates a dedicated organic base medium and functional microbial products for raising and growing Ngọc Linh ginseng.

Minh Tâm has been entrusted with projects to develop growing media for Ngọc Linh ginseng and for other medicinal plants, flowers and ornamentals.

The science and technology project "Refining the production and use of an organic base medium and functional microbial products for Ngọc Linh ginseng, for seedling production and industrial-scale cultivation in Quảng Nam and Kon Tum" is part of the national product programme "Sâm Việt Nam" and is led by the Soils and Fertilizers Research Institute. In a net-house trial, nursery-bag media formulas made for Ngọc Linh ginseng (CT1.1 to CT1.6) are compared.

The project was presented at the kick-off conference in Quảng Nam on 21 February 2023, alongside the growing-media project of the Rural and Mountainous Areas Programme.
